Testimonials
  • The City of Santa Monica fleet has been using B20 since February of 2005 and has just moved to B50. Our plan is to go to B99 by the end of 2007. The Santa Monica Big Blue Bus, Los Angeles County’s second largest transit bus fleet, has been using B20 since October of 2006 in all of their diesel buses.Joe Gershen of Tellurian Biodiesel helped us learn about the benefits of biodiesel initially, and worked with our mechanics and operators to educate them about handling, use and operations issues. They are also managing a unique demonstration project to reduce NOx emissions through the use of SCR technology with city vehicles, in partnership with AQMD, ARB, NREL and CEC.

We have had virtually no problems with biodiesel and are excited about increasing its use in the city, which will help reduce greenhouse gas and other criteria emissions. With Tellurian Biodiesel’s help, Santa Monica has proactively been part of the solution and helped to reduce petroleum consumption in California.

  • Tellurian Biodiesel was instrumental in supporting City of Inglewood’s fleet transition to B20. They were extremely helpful in educating myself and city staff about biodiesel and its many benefits, and continue to provide support and educational services to our mechanics and operators. Tellurian has an expert understanding of biodiesel and a unique commitment to quality and value.

  • States Logistics is a fully integrated provider of third-party logistics services with locations in Southern California and Arizona. Tellurian Biodiesel was very helpful in educating us about proper biodiesel handling and use protocols as we transitioned our first biodiesel fleet customer, CLIF Bar, to B99.9. We currently run three 2007 model year International 8600 FreightLiner tractors with 2006 Cummins 425 HP motors on B99.9 and the rest of our fleet on B5. We use B50 in colder months and change fuel filters with slightly higher frequency, but have had no operational or maintenance concerns in 3 years of biodiesel operations.
